ABOUT GOCA
The Greater Oakton Community Association (GOCA) was established in the spring of 2019 to improve and preserve the attributes
of the greater Oakton community.
GOCA will act as a non-political conduit for sharing community information; help establish new programs benefiting the community; and work to preserve the area’s historic and environmental assets.
Our priorities will be determined by the community at GOCA’s semi-annual community meetings held at the Oakton Library or other appropriate locations in the years ahead.
GOCA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization as designated by the IRS. Donations are tax-deductible.
Co-chairs: Janet Kerr-Tener and Patty Reed
Members of the Greater Oakton Community Association Board serve three-year terms. Current Board members include Oakton residents
Jody Bennett; Lynda Byrne; Lauren Crum; Mark Deaton; Shelley Deutch; Mark Gibb; Kris Olsen; and Robin Thurman.
Membership in GOCA is free and open to all interested Oakton residents. Please email us to get on our email list.
