Community Meeting on Enhancement to Oakton Community Park

Join us October 19th at 6 pm at the historic Oakton Schoolhouse for an important presentation by the Fairfax County Park Authority on possible enhancements to Oakton Community Park (OCP). If you attended Oakton Day in the Park, you may have met the Park Authority staff and seen the Phase 1 renderings for the new pavilion, which has been made possible through an anonymous donation.

GOCA is also prioritizing water, a restroom, and a small kitchen to make the park more functional and welcoming for our community. These improvements would require a community-led capital campaign and are included in the Phase 2 vision that was shared at Oakton Day. We strongly encourage you to attend this meeting to help shape these improvements and make them a reality.
