Our Priorities

GOCA's priorities are identified annually by the community during GOCA’s community meetings. Our current priorities include:

Building community in Oakton...

...by organizing events and programs that bring residents together and strengthen our shared sense of place.

A family crossing the street in a crosswalk.

Advancing pedestrian safety in Oakton...

...by advocating for the extension of the sidewalk from Samaga Drive along Hunter Mill Road so pedestrians can safely access local businesses and community amenities.

Creating a stronger sense of place...

...by encouraging opportunities for public art throughout the community.
