About the event
Pony Rides in the Park on September 20th, 11- 2, in Oakton Community Park at 2841 Hunter Mill Road. A favorite with the kids. Registration is required and cost is $10 per rider, which is a donation to the Greater Oakton Community Association. Please click here or on the RSVP button to register.
All riders must be 2 years or older and less than 200 pounds. If your children are 5 years or younger, they may ride together on 1 horse (max 2 children).
On Sunday, September 20th, meet us in Oakton Community Park at 2841 Hunter Mill Road, Oakton 15 minutes before your scheduled ride to check-in, sign the waiver and pick out your helmet. Parents must accompany children and stay on-site during the ride. If you have your own riding helmet, you're welcome to bring it. Additionally, we ask that you wear closed toe shoes.
Rides will be 8 minutes and two handlers will accompany each rider. In the event of inclement weather and we choose to cancel, we will email you on Sunday morning before 9am. Rain date is September 27th.
