On January 27, the Greater Oakton Community Association sponsored an Open House and wine-tasting at the Oakton Wine Shop to foster connections among Oakton neighbors and to listen to the thoughts of the Community residents about issues of importance to them in a relaxed setting. Bryan Gauthier of the Oakton Wine Shop kindly made his lovely premises available for the purpose and even donated a portion of his sales that night to GOCA. We had a good attendance, and were particularly pleased to have former Providence District Supervisor Linda Smyth and Providence District Planning Commissioner Phil Niedzielski-Eichner join us for the festivities!
